Services this year will be held in person at our synagogue located at 8401 Grubb Road, Chevy Chase, MD. They will also be available via live-stream on our website.
Registration is required for admission to designated Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.

Tickets for Non-Members Click Here to View the Complete High Holy Day Calendar Guest tickets $175 per person for Rosh HaShanah Day Morning Service $175 per person for Yom Kippur Day Morning Service $225 per person for both days Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur are the only services with a cost for a guest ticket. Guests may attend any of our other High Holy Day services, including Erev Rosh HaShanah and Kol Nidrei, free of charge. Members of URJ (Reform) congregations in good standing from outside the local area may attend at no charge using a reciprocity form. Full-time students and people in military service may attend at no charge with their IDs. Children of any age are welcome, but anyone over 12 must have a full-priced ticket. If you are registering children for youth services or childcare do so in those sections entitled “Children and Youth Services,” not in the tickets for Sanctuary services section. We firmly believe that your financial situation should not be a barrier to participating in synagogue life. If you need to discuss financial concerns, please contact our Financial Secretary at FinancialSecretary@templeshalom.net as soon as possible. Our Financial Secretary’s purpose is to ensure that finances are not a barrier to full participation in Temple life. Parking
Reserved parking for those with mobility issues is available in our lot, by request. However, these requests are not guaranteed, and handicapped spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternative parking will be at Rock Creek Forest Elementary School across the street. Please do not block our neighbors' driveways.

If your plans change or you find you cannot attend, please call Kennette Mitchell IMMEDIATELY at 301-587-2273, so your parking space can be given to another congregant in need.
High Holy Day Prayer Books
We have a limited number of machzorim (High Holy Days prayer books) to loan. To ensure that you and your family can follow each service, we recommend that you have your own machzorim (High Holy Days prayer books), Mishkan Hanefesh, Prayer book for the Days of Awe.
Books can be purchased from the synagogue at $54 a set.
Purchased books may be picked up from the synagogue starting September 1 during business hours, or prior to High Holy Day services. Book Orders must be in by September 1.
Youth Service and Activities
Please type a teen name and a teen cell phone/email.
9-12th Grade may volunteer to assist with the Youth Service and Activities.
Child Care Reservation DEADLINE September 8 - Limited child care is available for the following services: Erev Rosh Hashanah - 8 pm until service concludes Rosh Hashanah Day - 8:30 am until services concludes Kol Nidrei - 8 pm until service concludes Yom Kippur - 8:30 am until services conclude All ages are welcome at any of our services! Parallel youth services and programming for pre-k-5th graders and childcare are available Rosh HaShanah Morning and Yom Kippur Morning. For all other services listed above childcare is available for children 5 and younger if desired.
Accommodation Requests Please let us know in advance if there are any accommodations we can provide for you, such as aisle or front row seating, large print prayer books, noise reducing headphones, or other requests. Printed service outlines will be available for each service. Rosh HaShanah Late Morning Service (11:30-1:30 PM) and Yom Kippur Late Morning Service (11:30-1:30 PM) will be ASL interpreted.
