Noa Baum

Storyteller Noa Baum, an Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in the United States, weaves together their memories and their mothers' stories. She creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

The Washington Post describes Israeli born Noa Baum as "Spreading cultural truths that eclipse geopolitical boundaries...". An internationally acclaimed storyteller, author, and coach, she offers a unique combination of performance art and practical workshops that focus on the power of narrative to heal across the divides of identity and promote compassion and peace.

Born and raised in Jerusalem, Noa trained in theatre at Tel-Aviv University and received an MA in Educational Theater and Drama Therapy from NYU. She is the author of the award-winning memoir A Land Twice Promised, telling the story that led to the creation of this show, and children’s book How the Birds Became Friends, on the power of kindness.
