Adult Hebrew Classes

Beginning March 13th, Temple Shalom will be offering two seven-week Hebrew courses for Adults led by Rabbi JoHanna Potts, open to members and non-members alike! Both classes run from March 13th to May 1st, with no class on April 10th due to Passover observance.

Cost: $136 for members, $150 for non-members.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For a more financially accessible option, to reach out to our bookkeeper Sharon at swinick@templeshalom.net and the Financial Secretary at financialsecretary@templeshalom.net.

Introduction to the Aleph Beit - learn to read the Hebrew alphabet - the names and sounds of the Aleph Beit- begin to read the Hebrew words you know and add new ones.

Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM* On Zoom

Hebrew Prayer Fluency - Sitting in services and enjoying the music is an important aspect to experiencing the spirituality of the service. Add another important experience: the ability to read the Hebrew smoothly and understand the Hebrew of the prayers.
