Temple Shalom is offering two Virtual Adult Hebrew classes led by Rabbi JoHanna Potts

Cost: $180 for members, $250 for non-members.

Both Hebrew 1 and Hebrew 2 will be on Mondays October 27, November 3, November 10, November 17, November 24, December 1, December 8, December 15, and December 22.

Hebrew 1 is at 7PM and Hebrew 2 is at 8:15PM.

Classes will be held on Zoom.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For a more financially accessible option, to reach out to the Financial Secretary at financialsecretary@templeshalom.net

Hebrew 1 - learn to read the Hebrew alphabet - the names and sounds of the Aleph Bet- begin to read the Hebrew words you know and add new ones.

Hebrew 2- Sitting in services and enjoying the music is an important aspect to experiencing the spirituality of the service. Add another important experience: the ability to read the Hebrew smoothly and understand the Hebrew of the prayers.

The Hebrew 1 class will be using the book Aleph isn't Tough: an Introduction to Hebrew for Adults by Linda Motzkin.
